Fees & Insurance
Therapy is an investment in your well-being, and I believe understanding the cost of care should be simple and transparent.
I accept several major insurance plans, as well as self-pay clients. Because insurance benefits vary by plan, I recommend contacting your insurance company to confirm your specific coverage, copay, deductible, and coinsurance before beginning therapy.
Insurance
Cozy Couch Counseling is currently in-network with:
Aetna
Blue Cross Blue Shield / Florida Blue
Cigna
Oscar
Oxford
UnitedHealthcare
Medicare Part B in Florida
Tricare East (as a non-network provider)
Your insurance plan determines your out-of-pocket cost. Even when a provider is in-network, your plan may require a copay, coinsurance, or deductible. I’m happy to help you understand the billing process, but your insurance company is ultimately responsible for confirming your benefits.
Self-Pay Rates
Individual Therapy
$125 · 55-minute session
EMDR Therapy
$175 · 80-minute session
EMDR sessions are longer because trauma processing requires adequate time for preparation, processing, and grounding. EMDR is not typically begun during the first session.
Complimentary Consultation
15-minute consultation · Free
Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and finding the right fit matters. I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation so we can briefly talk about what you’re looking for, answer any initial questions, and determine whether we may be a good fit.
There is no obligation to schedule therapy afterward.

A Note About Insurance
Insurance coverage can be complicated, and every plan is different. Before your first appointment, please verify your benefits directly with your insurance company, including:
Whether Cozy Couch Counseling is considered in-network
Your copay or coinsurance
Whether you have met your deductible
Your behavioral health benefits
Any authorization or referral requirements
Your remaining annual benefits
If you choose to use insurance, I will submit claims according to your plan’s requirements. Your responsibility is any copay, coinsurance, deductible, or other amount assigned to you by your insurance carrier.
Good Faith Estimates
Clients who choose self-pay services are entitled to receive information about the expected cost of care. If you are not using insurance, a Good Faith Estimate can be provided in accordance with applicable federal requirements.
Questions About Cost?
You don’t have to figure everything out before reaching out. If you’re unsure whether your insurance is accepted or whether therapy is financially manageable, you’re welcome to schedule a complimentary consultation and ask.
